The prints are made using archival inks, and each are time-consumingly printed and inspected by the artist. OUR PRINTS: The quality of each giclee print closely captures the true look and feel of the original, and Paulina takes great care in the production of each and every print. The online image files you see on your computer screen are low-resolution samples -- the actual prints that you receive are finely-detailed and vibrant in person. The undeniable value of a Paulina Cassidy print is that they are not only immediately enjoyable upon receipt, but they also retain their beauty and value to pass on to the next generation, and the next. Your prints are an investment which will stand the test of time. Each print comes packed in a clear plastic sleeve with a backing board for added protection. With care your prints will retain their beauty and value for generations to come. As with all quality prints and photos it t is highly recommended that you keep your prints away from prolonged exposure to direct sunlight, and away from damp locations.
FRAMING/STORING: All of the prints come unframed and unmatted. As with original watercolour paintings, it is recommended that the prints be mounted under glass when framed and kept away from direct sunlight in order to protect their lasting vibrancy. If the prints are going to be left unframed, it is recommended that they be stored in sheet protectors, which are supplied with each print you purchase.
Framing/matting the 8.5x11" prints: the image is sized as an 8x10" to fit comfortably into a standard 11x14" mat with a 7.5x9.5" opening.
Framing/matting the 5x7" prints: a standard 8x10" mat with a 4.5x6.5" opening is recommended.
Framing/matting the 11x14" prints: a standard 16x20" mat with a 10.5x13.5" opening is recommended.
